Announcing the First Annual Southwest Idaho Dahlia Society Show

Friday, September 15, 2023 (Exhibitor Move-In)

Saturday, September 16, 2023 and

 Sunday, September 17, 2023 to Noon

-Entering the show is FREE.
-What can you enter?
-Single blooms – dahlias classified by the American Dahlia Society
-Five bloom entries – dahlias classified by the American Dahlia Society
-Unclassified Dahlias – dahlias not listed in classification books
-Arrangements – dahlias are the predominant flower
-Challenge dahlia – everyone grows the same dahlia and we compete for best bloom; cultivar to be announced soon!
-ADS Seedling Bench Evaluation
-All those new to showing will be judged in the novice category so you are not competing against advanced exhibitors.
-Ribbons and prizes will be awarded.
-We will help you learn how to select your bloom or blooms.
-We will have a class with Senior Judge and hybridizer of Maks dahlias, Allan Kaas in April of 2023 to teach us how to select and stage dahlias for exhibition.
