Refund policy

Returns and Refunds

As a not-for-profit organization, Southwest Idaho Dahlia Society (SWIDS) sells tubers that are donated or purchased from suppliers at a reduced price. We have no control over whether the tubers will grow true to labeled form based on our sourcing. Mistakes in labeling can and do happen and are not intentional. Our tuber pricing for our members reflects reduced pricing based on an analysis of the current retail market. Therefore, we have a “no returns or replacement” policy for tubers and cuttings.

Disease in Dahlias

According to the American Dahlia Society's ongoing virus research, an average of 87% of healthy, asymptomatic dahlia plants carry at least one dormant virus. The tubers that are sold may show signs of virus as the plants develop. We advocate virus prevention gardening practices and provide education to our members; however, we have no control of whether or not the tubers you purchase from us will grow plants that develop virus.
